Reel Works Filmmakers at Photoville 2018

Reel Works took a field trip to Photoville on September 20th. We were proud to see three Reel Works films displayed at the cit.i.zen.ship exhibition container: Firebreak by Ian Chen, Live With It by Chantha Bracero, and Missing Connection by Nyla Dias.Filmmaker Ian Chen reflected, “This was my first time at Photoville, but the atmosphere and vibe there is bound to bring me back-- brimming with artistic, creative, and revolutionary energy. It was surreal for me to have stepped out of one container that was full of this incredible art, then step into the next one to see my name displayed and my film being played. I'm proud of myself for being able to create a film that resonated with audiences enough for them to want to share it with even wider audiences. I'm overjoyed that people want to see and listen to my story!”Additionally, the three films will be part of a parallel exhibition at NYU Tisch Photography & Imaging.
