Fall Lab pitches to Viacom

The 2017 Fall Lab class pitched their documentary ideas to professionals at Viacom. Students each shared  2-3 minute synopses  about their films, why the issue matters to them, and how they plan to tell their story.Professionals from the Scripted MTV & VH1 and the Unscripted Programming & Digital Programming departments at Viacom gave each student feedback on how they could strengthen their pitch techniques and their story ideas."These are great ideas that I literally did not think about and I'm so glad I got to hear from you," said Asante as he received feedback from Viacom professionals and mentors.We want to give a special thank you to Jason Goldberg, Adam Robinson, Tolani Holmes, Jasmine DeGroat, Maggie Malina and Morgan Grain from Viacom for helping our youth develop their pitches.Stephon shared, "I think my pitch was controversial to some people, but I think the idea of my story is important and it should be exposed to people."
