I think this is the time I’ll change my life around and this is the place to do it.” No Compromise by Nathael Jean Louis (Mentor: Chris Raddatz) is a dramatic film about a high school student in search of belonging as he’s tempted to fall into the wrong crowd. When his mother and a friend from church confronts him, he is forced to make a choice. No Compromise speaks about the choices we make and hints to the path that they lead to. Nathael shares, “It was great experience being part of the Narrative Lab. I was able to grow and learn about my story and myself. I thank God for all the opportunity that was presented to me and thank you Reel Works.” Reel Works presents “Movie of the Week” to showcase the exemplary films made by our young filmmakers. If you’d like to nominate a Reel Works Lab or Narrative Lab film for Movie of the Week, please contact us at thelab@reelworks.org.
