Reel Works Productions - Haven Kids Rock

Reel Works Productions was commissioned to produce a feature-length documentary for the after school music and arts program Haven Kids Rock. Founded by rock guitarist Jimi K Bones (Joan Jett, Blondie, Monday Night Football and Enrique Iglesias) and casting director Nefertiti Jones (House Casting, VH1, Lilith Fair) in 2008, the program resides at Mott Haven Academy Charter School in the South Bronx, a first-of-its-kind charter school that serves children in foster care. Haven Kids Rock provides children with a creative, enriching and therapeutic outlet rarely found in their tumultuous lives. The documentary is currently in production.
