Coffee Break with CNN, Discovery Inc. and ITV

This July, we welcomed volunteers from leading networks CNN and Discovery Inc. to our signature MediaMKRS Career Cafe. Career Cafes are monthly roundtables where industry professionals connect with students and early-career professionals for career conversations. In Zoom breakout rooms, more than 25 students engaged employers to learn more about post-production, production, recruiting, and management.

We also welcomed British media company ITV to join our August Career Cafe. Our MediaMKRS participants had the opportunity to meet with the CEO of ITV and professionals working across multiple departments at ITV. Hear what Connor McGovern a MediaMKRS Career Exploration participant had to say:
