It would take 3 buckets of water to fill up this barrel we had in the backyard just to cook and shower. Everyday I came home, I knew my routine - go get water.”Courtney Bowne (Mentor: Ryan Rivard) is a Brooklyn based artist, hailing from St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Courtney created an art installation that sparks conversation about the Flint water crises in The Water Project. Courtney shares his experience making his film: “The experience was very thrilling. It was fun and stressful at times doing something I've never done but always wanted to do. The process of filmmaking is so complex, you'd never know how much effort goes into it.”Reel Works presents “Movie of the Week” to showcase the exemplary films made by our young filmmakers.
