Movie of the Week: Made for You and Me

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHc-YMEaYiIMade for You And Me by Nicole Chow"It's not easy Nicole, when you have to leave everything that you worked for, you studied for...things you wanted to become, things you wanted to do in that country. So many goals you've set, and then, from one day to another everything changes... because of politics." Made for You and Me by Nicole Chow (Mentor: Ruchika Mucchala) documents a family that has migrated from all around the world to escape political turmoil. Their most recent transition from Venezuela to New York leaves their daughter examining how history truly does repeat itself. “I was living a dream. I was in wonderland. But the rest of my family and friends were not,” shared Nicole from the 2016 Fall Documentary Lab. Reel Works Movie of the Week showcases the exemplary films made by our young filmmakers.
